Second round of the European Junior Championships in Great Britain

Karting driver Thomas Nepveu participated in the second round of the European Junior Championships in Great Britain on May 19 and 20.

After a 5th place finish in the SKUSA SpringNationals series in Phoenix (Arizona) on May 5 and 6, as well as a rewarding participation in the first round of the European Junior Championships held in Italy in April, the young driver felt ready to perform in Great Britain.

Thomas started the British qualifying rounds with aplomb and speed, but was unable to reach the final due to tire problems, a penalty and a last round accident. The experience was a positive one as Nepveu adapted to the European driving and racing conditions.

Thomas will be available for phone interviews on Thursday May 24th and Friday May 25th between 12:00 and 1:00 pm and after 3:30 pm, to talk about his last race.

Thomas will also be available to talk about his next race on the Ampfing circuit, which will take place next week in Germany. This will be good practice for Thomas as he will be competing on this same track at the German leg of the European Junior Championships in June.
