Thomas Nepveu Eager for Western Swing After Challenging Ohsweken Speedway Race

Thomas Nepveu, the young and talented driver from Oka, Quebec, faced a challenging race last Thursday at Ohsweken Speedway, finishing 16th. Adapting to the dirt track proved to be a tough task, but Nepveu remains optimistic and determined as he sets his sights on the upcoming Western Swing in the NASCAR Canada series.

Reflecting on the Ohsweken race, Nepveu commented, "It was a tough race, and adapting to the dirt track was more challenging than I anticipated. But every race is a learning experience, and I'm taking the lessons from Ohsweken to improve my performance."

Nepveu is now focusing on the Western Swing, where he will compete at the Sutherland Speedway in Saskatoon on Saturday, July 20, followed by a race at Edmonton Raceway on July 27. With fond memories of last year's success at these tracks, Nepveu is looking forward to the opportunity to showcase his skills and achieve strong results.

"I'm excited about the Western Swing," said Nepveu. "Last year, I had success at Sutherland Speedway, finishing 8th and 11th in the two races. I also finished 7th at Edmonton Raceway, and I am confident that I can build on these experiences to return to the Top 10, and even the Top 5."

The start of the Leland 250, a 250-lap race, will be given at 9:15 PM Eastern Time, which is 7:05 PM local time. The event will be broadcast live on FloRacing.com and TSN+.
